Register for Meals on Wheels in DeKalb County

Voluntary Action Center provides home delivery of nutritious meals through the Meals on Wheels Program. The program is available to residents of DeKalb County who are 60 years or older, their spouses, and individuals who are disabled. Anyone can refer a DeKalb County resident to the program, including self-referral, physician’s office, hospital, and family member. Follow the steps below to register for meals on wheels in Dekalb County.

For those under 60, please call the Department of Rehabilitation Services (D.O.R.S.) at 815-758-2471.

Register for meals on wheels to receive nutritious home-delivered meals.

Registration Steps:

  1. Fill out the form below to complete the registration form.
  2. You will receive a call from Meals on Wheels staff to schedule a time to complete a nutrition assessment for home delivered meals.
  3. With the help of the Meals on Wheels staff, a nutrition assessment will take place in person or over the phone.
