“Take Charge of Your Diabetes” Live Well Be Well Workshop
Take Charge of your Diabetes is a free 6 week workshop offered to help those living with diabetes. You will find practical ways to deal with the symptoms of Diabetes. Topics covered include exercise, nutrition, medication management, preventing & delaying complications and working with health care providers.
The next workshop begins Thursday, Oct 6, 2016 running from 1:00pm – 3:30 pm at DeKalb Luncheon Site 330 Grove St. DeKalb.

Annual Membership Drive
Voluntary Action Center gives community members an opportunity to donate to our organization through an annual membership drive. The membership drive is held in the fall. The monetary donations from this drive support Voluntary Action Center’s Meals on Wheels and Transportation programs.
